The Trinity, one God in three Persons, sets apart Christianity from other world religions and philosophies. Yet you may wonder who the Trinity really is, and the relevance of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to your daily life. "Trusting In The Trinity" shows you how to know and feel the Trinity's extravagant love. Topics include how the Trinity relates to God's nature and human nature, personality and relationships, holiness and worship, miracles and prayer, science and philosophy, psychology and creativity. Praised by professors at Yale, Fuller, Gordon-Conwell, Dubuque, Andover Newton, and Dallas theological seminaries. Theologian Tremper Longman writes: "Dr. Dan and Kate Montgomery integrate their counseling method with a thoroughly biblical Trinitarian theology and the result is insight that can transform our life and our relationships." Dr. Dan is a Theologian-Psychologist. Kate is a Professor of Human Development.

Modern psychology has left too many people feeling alone in the universe, unable to find a life rich in identity and community, let alone intimacy with God. Dan and Kate Montgomery make a course correction by grounding human life in the Christian Trinity: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They believe that individuals derive their cognitive capability, emotional dynamics, and interpersonal orientation from their creation in the image of God. Further, the Montgomerys suggest that trusting in the Trinity brings out the best in a person's human nature, personality, and relationships. This is a psychologically sophisticated message that is both inspiring and readable.

The Trinity is one of the hottest topics in Christianity today, as though freshly discovered after centuries of neglect. And while I've read several books on the Trinity, this is the first one to stir me emotionally as well as intellectually. Maybe it's because Dan and Kate Montgomery break down the traditional walls separating theology from psychology and philosophy, or because their approach is both personal and biblical. Whatever the reason, the perspective they offer helps me feel close to God - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
