Great overview of the life of Robert E Howard's father told through letters and focusing on the period after Robert's and Mrs. Howard's death. Father lived eight more years and this volume shows how a strong and proud man struggled to endure after such a profound and heartbreaking loss. A consistent theme is his effort to preserve and ensure continued longevity of his son's works. A great contribution to Howard enthusiasts and scholars.
