This book is a compilation of the "Eye on Diversity" columns written for the Chaska Herald newspaper over the past few years dealing with all kinds of diversity-related topics. The columns cover subjects such as discrimination; diversity education at home; workplace diversity; and special monthly celebrations such as gay pride, black history month and more.
The articles are divided in three parts. The first part pertains to the challenges of diversity including racism, sexism, stereotype, prejudice, and cultural differences. Part two is about the benefits of diversity. The third part was named diversity in practice because practical tips, advice, and guidelines are presented for the general public and corporate America to use.
