Dear Global Citizens, Disappointment with the ruling African National Congress (ANC), that has been in power since the end of the repressive apartheid regime, has been growing for years. Crime, corruption and poverty was already increasing even before the nine-year rule of Jacob Zuma, the populist president ousted in 2018 amid widespread corruption allegations. Despite the good intentions of President Cyril Ramaphosa, the country is going downhill. Crime and rolling power cuts, shut down businesses and factories for weeks on end, while the public healthcare system has been lethally undermined by mismanagement and corruption. What all share is a lack of faith in South Africa’s government to restore Public Safety and Rule of Law. “People have given up on the state as a protector. There is a massive loss of faith. It’s a tragedy,” said William Gumede, a respected analyst and academic in Johannesburg. The People of South Africa see a need for political options that offer an authentic alternative to the ANC, to restore Rule of Law and Security in the country. In 2021, in the worst breakdown in public order for decades, hundreds of shopping malls were looted, warehouses torched and key infrastructure targeted across a swath of South Africa. It is imperative that the government restores Rule of Law, Basic Infrastructure and Human Rights (UDHR) in South Africa. This applies especially to Article 3 of the UDHR: "Right to Life, Liberty, Personal Security." And Artice 7: "All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law". The implementation of a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) is also essential. NB: The continued inability of the ANC government to uphold Rule of Law in South Africa is a big problem - leading to gun crime, lawlessness and mass killings - due to corruption and mismanagement by the ANC government. Hence the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding will govern South Africa temporarily. This includes bringing corrupt officials to Justice; regardless of what political affiliation they may be. We are looking forward to working together with President Ramaphosa, the ANC, the State Security Agency and Global Community - to restore Rule of Law, Public Safety, Human Rights and Happiness in South Africa. Love and Light / inkosi ikusikelele / God Bless / Peace Profound. Mark Afra - BTB-Global Peacebuilding. She lost her only son Alioune in 2006. He was 26 years old. Eighty other men mostly from West African countries, died alongside him that day.Migration is so popular among the young people here because it is a way to escape a form of social death as a result of unemployment. “There is no work for young people any more. You can imagine how they see things."ALJAZEERA: The International Organization for Migration (IOM): "African migrants traded in Libya’s ‘slave markets’ " / People are held for ransom forced labour or sexual exploitation after being sold for up to $500, UN agency says.It is imperative that forced migration and the 'brain drain' are prevented in Africa - by implementing Economic- and Infrastructure Development - as we as ecologically sustainable development; in conjunction with family planning. The population in Africa is currently about 1,4 billion. As things stand, that's about as much Africa can handle at the moment :) Technology must improve to provide more resources in Africa. e.g Desalination of salt water - like in Saudi Arabia.Economic Development, Education and Free Enterprise in Africa must also be improved by local governments, the UN and the International Community; so that everybody has a job and enough money to provide for their families.African countries also urgently need reforms to enhance trust and legitimacy in elections while corruption remains a critical issue but only democratic governments are equipped to prevent violent extremism, and ensure civil liberties and free enterprise.“There is no work for young people any more. You can imagine how they see things. They say: our sea has been sold” says Yayi referring to overfishing practised by industrial trawlers from Europe, China and Japan.Although President Macky Sall criticised these practices when he came to power in 2012 and briefly put a stop to it new fishing agreements have been signed between the Senegalese government and the EU for the 2014-2019 period. It enables the EU to fish for 14000 tonnes of fish a year in Senegalese waters in exchange for 15 million euros ($16.75 million) in compensation. The People of Senegal - the Assemblée nationale du Sénégal - has the power to cancel fishing agreements with foreign countries; by not renewing fishing contracts. However in the 21st Century we need new jobs in Senegal besides fishing :)GUARDIAN: "Macron and world leaders call on private finance to help reduce global poverty" / Hence we encourage the International Community - including multinational investment banks and the super-rich - to provide jobs for all People in Africa :)ALARABIYA NEWS: "Saudi Arabia’s NEOM reveals significant progress on snow resort Trojena / Luxury island Sindalah: "NEOM’s Sindalah to showcase Saudi Arabia to the world" / So we also need such projetcs in Africa - to provide jobs in Africa.ALARABIYA NEWS: "Trojena will eventually house 7000 permanent residents, 70,000 annual visitors, a ‘fun cluster’, shopping, nightlife, more than 100 different sports, festivals, music and fashion events, and – of course – its winter slopes."ALARABIYA NEWS: The Crown Prince unveiled plans for Sindalah in 2022 saying in a statement at the time: “This is another significant moment for NEOM and a major step in the Kingdom realizing its tourism ambitions under Vision 2030."So perhaps those fine folks in Saudia Arabia can help Africa to create such ‘fun cluster’ projects - that create jobs, provide revenue and show the beauty of Africa :) However, political stability in Africa is an essential prerequisite for such projects.AFRICA NEWS: "South Africa opposition parties join forces in bid to unseat ruling ANC" / Great. Keep up the good work :) A change of government is part of a functional Democracy. After 30 years of ANC rule perhaps a new party should rule the country :)AFRICA NEWS: "BRICS admits six new members as bloc seeks bigger say in global affairs" / Chinese President Xi Jinping hailed this historic enlargement and predicted a radiant future for the Brics. / Certainly a good step to further Peace and Prosperity :)JAPAN TIMES: "Sympathy for the oligarch" - Alfa Group billionaires knew Putin was no friend of business but there is little they can do" / "China draws geopolitical lessons as Ukraine war grinds on" / Hence we must restore Peace. 中华人民共和国主席It should also be noted that the borders of both Ukraine and Russia have been internationally recognized and defined in 1991 - with Russia's First President Boris Yeltsin recognizing Ukraine's independence. Hence Russia should honour this agreement.Hence we encourage the Russian People to implement a peaceful governmental change and bring Putin to Justice - so that International Law can be restored.
