IMPLEMENTATION OF ICT IN GHANA EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM: CHALLENGES & THE WAY FORWARD
This study has been conducted to find out how far Ghana has gone with the implementation process of ICT in schools, especially Basic and Second Cycle Institutions. The study is meant to ascertain the challenges relating to the implementation process and how best to deal with those challenges. Various methods and techniques have been employed to carry out this study. Data has been collected from students, teachers, educational authorities, and printed materials to help come out with meaningful findings and recommendations. This research has been conducted at a time when the Ghana Education Service which oversees the educational administrative operations is preparing to revise the ICT curricula in Ghanaian schools.
