In Indian democracy, the powers have been separated by the Constitution among the three organs of the government i.e. Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary. In recent times the Judiciary has assumed considerable importance because of its inherent functions of adjudicating matters, a conflict or dispute between the Executive and Legislature also is referred to the higher Judiciary and the decision given by the higher Judiciary is accepted as final and binding by everyone. Judiciary is one of the organ which acts for protection and enforcement of rights of individuals and as a keeper of its liberties.
