  I think it's fantastic that Dr Seamons put this book together to help teach children about these virtues. I'm not sure that this is taught to children on a very regular basis today and they need it. He has really considered his audience in his writings by adding details that add credibility. The work is nicely paced and very engaging. His narrative voice is just great, very familiar and easy to follow. This book is the combination of his other two books "What About Me" and "Pivotal Moments". I assume that this was the first work. By joining the ideas and concepts of the Child of Virtue training contained in "What About Me" with Dr. Seamons personal / emotional progression found in "Pivotal Moments" it becomes quite overwhelming at times. He gives the reader a lot to internalize. I'm sure he realized this and that's why they are now separate. I enjoyed reading them in the order I did. Conceptual first with the Child of Virtue message, then... More > the emotional association and commitment, finishing with this work as a refresher and taking me to another level. Personally I think a book like this is well overdue. Oh, by the way, the SamiTales story books on his website childofvirtue.com are great!< Less

  This extensive work on virtue training is long overdue in our busy, technology-infused world. Too often we are caught up in urgent but meaningless activities that take us away from what matters most. This book reminds us of our inborn need to assist the rising generation to lead our world to greater peace and happiness. Each page holds hidden jewels of wisdom if one has the patience to process the emotions raised.
