The fourth issue of Beatdom celebrates the life and work of Jack Kerouac, upon the fortieth anniversary of his death. We have essays by Kerouac experts and scholars, to allow the best possible examination of his legacy.
We also focus on the women of the Beat Generation once again, and incorporate the perspectives of their contemporaries in 'Visions of Vollmer'.
The poetry section of Issue Four includes work by the hiphop star, Scroobius Pip, as well as Beatdom favourite, Nathan Dolby.
We have interviews with Carolyn Cassady and Gary Snyder, and the memoirs and unpublished photographs of Allen Ginsberg's assistant.
