Good story. A bit gory, but very nicely done. I laughed quite a few times as the humor is not lacking in this one. I did read Bullet Time, and I've got to say that No Tomorrow is miles above the latter in every way.Though there are a couple of references to things that happened in Bullet Time, they are explained in No Tomorrow. So this doesn't come across as a direct sequel, as it is a completely different setting, and only one common character. So if you haven't read Bullet Time, you would not feel lost by jumping into No Tomorrow. This is a Detective/Crime novel as well as a journey into the psyche of a serial killer, and what made him become the monster he is. Everything comes together smoothly, and yes the ending was a bit of a shocker.

Didn’t see that ending coming. Quite shocking. Deep, well thought out story, packed with Lots of comic relief. Intriguing characters. Very well put together.

Got the download on 9/11. This book is SICK. I mean that in all definitions of the word. I'd compare it to American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. But I enjoyed reading this one a bit more. American Psycho was slow. No Tomorrow didn't slow down at all. There was a lot going on in this book. All the characters had their own story line, but it all tied together very well. Amazingly well. There is some shocking stuff in there. The author knows how to bring out emotions his readers. Laughter (lots of comedic situations), Anger, empathy, disgust, sadness, were times where I was really into it, rooting for certain characters and such. I also liked the setting, it was mostly in New York where I'm from. So it was cool to see places like Di Fara in the book. But I think most of the places were made up (like Club Musty Taint).
