This (first volume) autobiographical novel begins with a very sick childhood, progressing to a Secondary Modern education after WWII, then serving in the Royal Navy from the age of 15, being invalided out, Physically Unfit For Further Naval Service, at the age of 22. Having missed several educational opportunities in life the author blunders into the Plastics Industry. In between the work ethic he began to gain experience in many different directions. In short, life as a camera? -A kalaidoscope of time! He emerges as what he believes is perhaps a better person? -As tragically he leaves behind him three wives and four children, plus in his own words, several probables? Yet he had appreciated the brilliance of colours in life, through into his own autumn years at the age of 68! As they say, there is a book in everyman?
Why is the price so high? -He tells it like it is. He had to live through this and parts of it are actually quite good?
