These far fetched stories take us thrillingly through the attempts by a bitter father, separated from his daughter, to take vengeance on her mother's clan. The style is quirky, flipping from the intensely, obsessively emotional to the self deprecatingly humorous. Parental alienation, the process by which one parent, commonly the mother living with the child, undermines the child's relationship with the other parent, usually a father living away, is dealt with in an eccentric, tangential way.
