History of the 159th Regiment, New York State Volunteers

Compiled from the diary of Lieutenant Edward Duffy, this text, originally published in 1865, follows the 159th Regiment NYSV through the Civil War. Beginning with the history of the regiment, the publication includes lists of field and staff officers, battles and skirmishes in which it was engaged, cities and towns visited by the regiment, and a list of the regiment's sea voyages. This latest edition has been reformatted to include a table of contents, making it much easier to navigate for the reader.
