"My Grandpa's Book - by Jaime Manalo 10/15/09" Hello. I am the granddaughter of a proud patriot that served my country of the good ol' USA. He is more than a veteran, more than a former POW, he is my grandpa. From when I was a child he has been this unbelievable force in my life. Even with his strife he endured during this conflict, he managed to keep his life together, and be a husband, father and grandfather. He is a true american. I know the entire Kamarainen family is so happy to have this tiny speck of history published for many generations to come. It may not be the best grammar, or the best layout, but it is EXACTLY as grandpa wanted it. He is in poor health at the moment and I am so honored to know him, and I appreciate the fact that I have grandparents to learn from at my age. I will always love my grandparents, and appreciate the sacrifices they made while raising 4 boys and 1 girl. Without them, I would not be here. Without this experience, I would not be here. I... More > love the Kamarainen family and I'm so proud to be a Kamarainen. I love you grandpa! Thank you for being you. I have enjoyed so much working with the publishing of this book. This book was a year process. For those of you that don't know him, my grandpa is very stubborn and straight forward. He knows what he wants and he is not afraid to say it. Even if it might hurt your feelings. He is everything I aspire to be (along with my grandma). He is my love, one of my best friends and I can't imagine life without him. Buy the book! It is a part of American history.
