Imagism is one of the youngest and most influential movements to ever bless English poetry. It primarily focuses on precise imagery and clear, economic language while still treating the subject directly and developing an individual rhythmic style. The original movement lived fast and died young, in a sense seeing as its seldom used and referenced just over a century after it began. This book is my admiring and respectful tribute, with a large and varied collection written with imagism in mind, to such a great progression of poetry. Long Live Imagism!
