A collection of poetry from acclaimed wordsmith El Rockwell. In this awesome work of wordplay and rhyme, El Rockwell takes pop culture, politics, and prose to new levels. Some reviews are in for ATOMIC WAIT: "Poet El Rockwell shows a mastery of language far beyond his years. With a dedication to wordplay and a vocabulary never before seen in poetry. His words jump off the page, attacking like an American soldier in an oil rich country." One more quote, then you have to click "Buy Now" and cop this book : "El Rockwell dominates the Phoenix poetry scene with dark, despotic flows and unheard of rhyme schemes. He can often be found at poetry readings spreading his rants, raps and thesis' as if it were the new AIDS, or on a soapbox doing the same. This pop culture meets politically charged scribe is a prolific play-write, scripting the dialog which drives our communal soul." For more reviews,Click Here!

"AWESOME!" Hey! I just got my copy of Atomic Wait, and it is freaking awesome. Not just the amazing wordplay, but the deep subliminal meanings that most meatheads arent smart enough to figure out. I didnt know you had a Myspace page though, I'm going to check it out. This is the most outstanding book of poetry I've read in years. El Rockwell may be the next Bukowski! I highly reccomend this book to anyone.

"It's OK" It's definitely not the best work ever, but it was a decent read. A lot of what I read sounded cool, more than having any deep meaning. I heard this herb rap on his myspace page though, and laughed my ass off. It's funny because I heard that he told Brash that he had to "step his rap game up", when his piss poor rhyming ability is better left in a book rather than in audio. Still, the book wasn't terrible. But no matter how many books he writes, it's not hiphop. That'd be like VH1 publishing a book on hiphop. Actually, they have, it it's better than this. :) And he's fake too, because all those quotations that you can read on his myspace page aren't even cited. I think that the person above is also him. Because, let's face it, this ain't no Bukowski, now matter how much this guy gasses himself.
