Oct 17, 2009Rev. Catherine Whitehead writes: “Food For Thought” "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 THE BIBLE IS THE MOST INSPIRED, INERRANT WORD OF GOD, REPRESENTING ABSOLUTE TRUTH AND OUR FINAL AUTHORITY IN ALL MATTERS MY SISTER AND I KNOW AFTER READING YOUR BOOKS “FOOD FOR THOUGHT” IT IS ANOINTED OF GOD. I would tell any one that is looking for a book to change their life I would have to recommend your books “Food For Thought.” I find it to be a couple of the greatest books I have read in a long time. Know that your book is a great book in anyone’s walk with the Lord. I love the way you point out so many things as if you are sitting there speaking with an audience before you. If I took this book and used it with folks that are always coming to me about their everyday problems I believe if used as you written it, it would... More > help a lot of lives; especially people having problems with their marriage, with their children, with their health and their job. I would have to tell them that “Food For Thought” is a good book they can read to help them with their problem. My sister this would be a PERFECT book not to short and not to long. It captures the Readers’ attention without a problem at all; especially your knowing the Lord as you do, making us know our Heavenly Father personally. Reading your book for me was like reading “THE BIBLE”!!! I love the way you hit on to so many problems and issues we face in this life. Reading “Food For Thought” made me feel like you were standing right there pointing out things that Happened in my life as they took place as you carried me through so many of my problems in my life. If many of us had,had this book maybe we would have been able to face many of the trials and tribulations that took place in our life. Not just in my life but women that have no one to talk to. Men that feels too proud or foolish to allow anyone to know what to know what they are facing. God gifted you to write this brilliant piece of works. And I thank you for sharing it with me. The Bible can be very intimidating to many people. Many folks who find it hard to understand, know that God has blessed You to be able to take the truths of His Word and break them down in a very easy way for us to understand in language and concepts. Especially since your books are based on Scripture and not just following the guidance of men. There is only ONE TRUTH and God gave that to us in the Bible. The answer to all of life’s problems are found on the pages of that great book. There is no other source of Truth. Anyone can write a book my Sister but not anyone can explain the Truth as God wrote it. Just because it is suppose to be “Biblically based,” doesn’t mean it is. One must know the Truth and know God before they can explain or attempt to write His Truth. You have done a great job at it. Rev. Catherine Whitehead (Chicago)< Less
