LIZ BERNARD is a professional fine art photographer who spent two years living and working in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. During her travels in the region, she sought to capture and share the beauty and character of the people of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Ghana. This beautiful book contains a selection of the art she has created in Africa, including several of the images in her new "Colorblock" series, in which she reduces everyday scenes to basic forms and colors in order to capture the art inherent in daily life.
