Emery's books should be required reading. Emery has a talent for encouraging readers to lean into their pain and to embrace raw human emotion. I love her work so much. She's guided me through some of the worst of times. I can't thank her enough for her words. Bought multiple copies of Soft Human and Become as holiday gifts this year. =)

I read it at once and then exhaled. Pure tenderness, pure magic. "reflect with yourself. find what you need in silence - the stillness of you."

i 1000000000% recommend this book. i discovered emery's work on tumblr, and she has quickly become one of my favorite writers. this book has gotten me through so much, especially during a time when i was learning to let go of the things that hurt and love myself in new ways. of all the books i own, i always pick this one up when i want to feel lovely feelings.
