It is intriguing to read literature from decades ago and find themes of humanity that still reside in our society, and our hearts, to this day. I put together this collection of stories with the idea of catching glimpses of that humanity from several different perspectives. The authors that I chose, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Howard Pyle, Frank Baum, Arnold Haultain, and Joseph Conrad, all vary in voice and insight, but together create an enjoyable concert of wit and knowledge.
