"The Committee for the Exploration of Mysteries" I played a demo of this game at Go Play NW last year. It was great fun, and the perfect combination of cooperative and competitive play. You play members of the title committee, regaling the others with the tales of your latest exploits. Players must work together to define and achieve the goal, but also work to outshine each other in their derring-do to earn the most praise from other members of the committee. The mechanics were fast and easy to pick-up. Character creation is both easy and an active part of each game, so it's as fun as the rest of the story. I'm buying this to play at parties. It will make a wonderful replacement for more traditional party games.
