I just finished reading eric liddy sr's book. As a fire fighter and a paramedic i was able to empathize with almost all the stories. It definitely shows all the sides of the emergency medical services world. And for those readers that might be thinking this is fiction it is not. These are real life situation faced by medical professionals each and every day. So for anyone that has ever wondered what those people that slow you down when your in a hurry as they rush by with lights blazing and siren wailing, give this a read. LOADING DOCK will hopefully open your eyes to the stark and shocking reality of the lives we live everyday! As for our fellow trauma junkies, hose jockeys, newbies, nuggets and stress monkeys, this is a must read.
