One month after Undiscovered Country, Hellguard's survivors are falling ill and Saavik is the latest victim. No can find a cure because no one can find a cause for the disease. Kirk, Spock, McCoy fight along side Sarek and Amanda to stop what's happening, but the disease is in the hands of a killer who will bring everything home to the crew of the Enterprise before this is over.
