The White Caps of Sevier County is a history of a period of lawless vigilantism in Sevier County, Tennessee in the late 1800s.
The White Caps, a group that described itself as the "morality police," used violence and intimidation, beatings and murders, to virtually rule the area.
This volume traces the White Cap movement in Sevier County from its development to its destruction.
