A set of D/s romance stories featuring three different couples in discipline relationships.
D/s lifestyles are not always easy. Sometimes you just want to do what you want to do and damn the rules, especially at times of stress and unhappiness.
A thoughtful and entertaining set of stories.

"The Corridor and other stories" This book contains a collection of stories in the gay romance Dom/sub genre. Each story outlines different reasons as to why couples choose to include discipline in their relationships. There are two stories involving Adam and Phineas. In the first story ‘Burdens’ Phin gets caught out when a sin he committed gets viewed on national television. One viewer in particular is less than impressed and trouble ensues for Phin when Adam demands to know why he didn’t say anything about being caught on camera breaking the speed limit by several hundred miles an hour. He metes out a punishment that Phin finds hard to deal with. Matters take a further downturn when, during sex, Adam discovers a lump under Phin’s nipple. Phin’s refusal to consult a doctor leads to conflict. The second story ‘Riding With The Wind’ sees more conflict between Adam and Phin when Phin gets arrested after stealing a car and causing an accident (leading to one of my favourite... More > lines in a story ever when he’s arrested for causing an accident by ‘reckless use of a citrus fruit’) This story is told by both Adam and Phin in first person and reveals how they came together. The Corridor, the title story, involves Mark and Gary and is a very intense story with strong psychological overtones. There’s a very powerful caning and sex scene that highlights Mark’s need for pain as a means of re-connecting himself to the corporal world. The follow on story ‘A Five Minute Meander Through Mark’s Mind’ is a nice foil to it, showing a lighter aspect to Mark’s troubled personality. It needs careful reading as the punctuation is designed to highlight Mark’s bipolar thought processes. The last story in the book ‘Pride Goes Before A Fall’ is pure fun. It’s narrated by a cat, Pride, who observes and comments on the relationship between his human owners Liam and Russell. It’s hilarious and is both a send up of the discipline and spanking kink and an affirmation of it. It guarantees that you finish this book with a smile on your face.< Less
