This full literature critique attempts to provide an extensive criticism of the literature that has been made available for perspectives related to the use of insulin pump therapy in children. An attempt was made to collect the very latest of research and clinical studies by searching three electronic databases for material which was published from 1990 to 2007. A total of twenty one pieces of research were considered to be appropriate for inclusion in the literature that was to be considered for this critique and the methodological quality and research outcome for various pieces was then considered.
