Worship is an important act in all religions and remembering God should also be an important dimension of Christian life. However, although Christian worship has a sense of history and tradition about it and the origins of Christianity as well as the times of Jesus Christ will fascinate almost anyone, times have changed and today a certain sense of struggle is apparent in many a church between the “contemporary” and “traditional” schools of worship. It has also been observed that the new generation of young Christian adults has a certain tendency to keep away from worship service, although they do have a good theological education. It appears that Christians, like people of the other monotheist faiths, have forgotten God and have started to worship the messengers with a greater attraction for music then the wisdom of the Word. With the previously mentioned concerns in mind, this dissertation presents a discussion about the challenges associated with building a worship ministry in Church.
