The Rose of Vales Volume 1

It's just another day in the life of the Tower Knights, city guards who protect the fantasy Kingdom of Vales. Branwynn Severin T.K. and her best friend are new recruits in a world of humorous political intrigue, crazy case files, and magic frequently fueled by fine, imported chocolate. Severin finds herself now part of Unit Thirty-Two and working with the infamous entourage of the young, knight prodigy Lanfaye G.T.K. As a rookie, Severin must prove her competency and demonstrate trustworthiness on the job while her best friend seems to be getting all the lucky breaks as part of a rival unit. Severin finds herself contending with other knights. She soon finds herself in the midst of: the pompous d'Arka T.K., the dour demolitions expert Archard T.K., the lead accountant Rousse T.K., and the mysterious scout known as Wynnd T.K. Wynnd is a knight that Severin T.K. has secretly admired for a long time. Now that they are in the same unit, she can finally meet him for the first time.
