About Felicia Y. Williams

Felicia Y. Williams was born in Alexander City Alabama on March 3, 1970 to Jake and Mary Williams. She is the third of four children. When she was three months old her mother and father, moved to Columbus, Ohio. Her parents separated when she was eleven years old and when she was thirteen her mother relocated to Oakland, California with she and her siblings. Her mom instilled the principles and values of God in her and her siblings at a very early age. They attended church regularly and were very active in the youth ministry. Felicia was raised in the Baptist denomination for most of her life, however, her mother encouraged she and her siblings to believe on the word of God more so than denominational boundaries and beliefs. At the age of 14 she accepted Christ as her personal savior on Easter Sunday in April of 1984. She became a member of Discipleship Baptist Church in Oakland, California and was under the teaching and guidance of the late Pastor Leslie Smith.
