Avie Burkhardt doesn't know what he's here for. There’s just this strong feeling that Something is passing him by. In frustration, he screams at God to show him what he's supposed to be doing. ... He didn't count on an Angel showing up! And he certainly didn't think he'd be able to do what She said. Kicking and screaming, he's led to his life's work - and labors three long years, by himself, building something only God in all His Wisdom could have thought up. At long last it’s finished - but lacking the major feature! ... Come spend a few hours in the Texas Hill Country, it’s beautiful here. ... Rated PG.

"Forrest Landry's Artesia" Boy, am I glad I didn't walk away without purchasing one. I have so enjoyed Artesia! The imagery - it really takes me there. That is what a good book is, one that takes me away. I can't help but to wonder if there really is a water park in Harper? You got me. This story seems like it has to be true; it is so vivid. A movie should be made. In addition to that, I just love the humor embedded in the introductory pages. What a delight! This is a real page turner; a must read!!
