Before excluded from academic spaces, African literatures (Francophone, Anglophone, and especially the Portuguese-speaking) are consolidating more and more. However, for the majority of the Brazilian public, including students from the area of Letters, this literary system is still little known. thus, this book attempts to sensitize other looks for the recognition of an art that already has in itself a special value, in response to pressures that characterize throughout history an invisibilization process. So we launched here a close look at the narratives imbued with strong political and social trend, with a critical, but sensitive approach.
