The other side of the desk is also the other side of the daydream! A reflective and charming meditation on following life-choices and the paths we find ourselves on once we do. One wish however: the author obviously has a myriad of illustrations: it'd be nice to see a version featuring those images: just to help us with the dream!

Excellent book!!!! A really fresh and new view in the hospitality world of a B&B. Well written, with lots of interesting tidbits, anecdotes and delicious recipes. The writer invites you to explore her experience and inner thoughts as the hostess of a wonderful and sometimes colorful list of guests. Set in an old Florida house (over 100 years old) at the end of Sunset Point, right on the edge of lovely creek surrounded by mangrove and herons, with dolphins playing nearby. So, sit in a swing and sip a cold refreshing ice tea under the shade of an old southern oak tree laced with Spanish moss and let this book take you to the other side of this world.
