Mason County Feasts (paperback)
ByFriends of the Shelton Timberland Library
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
What comes to mind when you see the word Food? Perhaps you think of your grandmother's famous biscuits, or maybe your father's so-so rendition of mac and cheese. Do you have enough food, or is it a constant worry? It could be that food is always a delight to you, or sometimes it may be a peril.
We asked our patrons to write about Food, and here is what they had to say. Favorite recipes, world travel, a flight of fantasy, humdrum moments of daily life punctuated by the food that is served and eaten. Wash it down with copious amounts of coffee and wine and you have a feast for the imagination.
Read, and when you close the book you will find yourself pondering what food means to you. Share this book with family and friends, and start a conversation about this essential, ubiquitous, but sometimes forgotten part of our human lives.
Open this book and the table is set, dinner is served. Enjoy!
