"This book is so good it should be mandatory reading for any Setian and the same goes for those in the Rune-Gild." - Ian Read (Fire and Ice) "Part Mark Twain, part Gurdjieff, part true transmission from another dimension, "The Erbeth Transmissions" tells the truth by disguising itself as fiction." - Waldo Thompson (Paradox Games) "Erbeth Transmissions is a deconstruction of some of the universes we live in." - Loosios Lentrohamsanin "The absurdity of Robert Anton Wilson infused with the paranoia of Philip K. Dick and taunted with the vision of Wilhelm Reich.” -- Ariel Jenway “A cosmo-demonic-space-opera-anthem for Generation X.” -- Jarl Drakon In the tradition of John Milton's Paradise Lost and Mark Twain's Letters from Earth; Erbeth Transmissions examines Man’s apocryphal origins and extra-terrestrial connections, contrasting his evolutionary potential against his self-destructive nature and the... I really enjoyed The Erbeth Transmissions. It's brilliant, original, wise and fun to read. The style is reminiscent of Gurdjieff's Beelzebub's Tales, without the convoluted language. The pages are chock full of social satire, reframed mythology, and outright thought-provoking wisdom. Great stuff! My only complaint here is that the book would benefit from the attention of a good copyeditor. There are typos of various sorts on many pages. The writing is strong enough to carry you past most of them, but at times it gets distracting. Nonetheless, well worth the read! Take a journey through space and time with the Erbeth Transmissions!

The Erbeth Transmissions is a wonderfully dark alternative mythology to Earth. Rather than the accepted Judeo-Christian creationism that we swallow as schoolchildren, Fritz Fredric populates our planet and worlds beyond with alien angels and demons whose names may sound just a bit familiar to those who delve into more esoteric histories. Somewhere between the drunken humanism of Hunter S. Thompson and the dreamscapes of H. P. Lovecraft lies Fredric’s view of heaven, hell, and all of the cosmos. A planetary landing becomes both a fall from grace and an ascension for the future of all mankind, and the true nature, and perhaps danger, of man’s “angels” is explored. This book is not for those who are comfortable with the world they have grown up knowing, but if you have the urge to explore the mirror image of all that is held holy, you might just want to pick this up to read on the spaceship with Beelzebub.
