Powerline farmer's, build a long narrow furrow, in the ground of clay dirt. And fill the furrow to the brim with motor fuel. When the moon strikes full, the stampede of pocket gopher's. Onrush into sizzling, gnashing of fire. Main character Pockit. Decides to throw in the towel and call it quits. He leaves Frezoor behind. Too find another job back east, another life...and one female gopher goes into labor. And delivers birth to several pockets. This is the sign the bloodbath. Starts over again...
