"interesting" The English "factory" closed on Hirado island in about 1620, and I doubt that any European ladies actually visited Japan in this period, though William Adams (Miura Anjin) did indeed arrive via a shipwreck. However, if we accept that this is a historical novel then we can put this point aside. I found the preview well written and the author clearly knows some Japanese. Good work!
