"Passing the time couldn't have been more fun." This book is delightfully funny, cleverly written and confusing as hell. It is a tribute to those who realize the oddities, the obvious and unseen pressures, as well as the ridiculousness of growing up in an american household and later attending college. All of which are portrayed through the strangely developed brain of Mr. Rutherford, who is frankly the most sarcastic, intricate, complicated and slightly evil individual whose amatuer work I have read. Though fairly easy to read, Rutherford makes vague references to many popular styles in culture and often times you may stop and reread several sentences in hopes to catch them all. Perhaps those who can most understand and value the book for its worth, are those who are enrolled or have recently journeyed through college. The book will make you laugh at the silly societal norms and yet cherish their existence for making us laugh. Because of the small length, I found the book... More > to be great bathroom material, which can easily be finished in 10-12 trips. Although his first publication, Rutherford ceases to amaze us with his witty sense and immense vocabulary, which results in the reader being oddly impressed.< Less
