Much like the “Dork Diaries” and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series, (Hmm – side note – what is the plural of series? ) this is a series that follows the life of teenager Kylie Wattson, who was glad that she got her braces off before she got her glasses, or else she would have been a complete Nerd, without a doubt. The story follows her ups and her downs, good and bad middle school days, and her downright clumsiness. This is a hilarious book that made me laugh at the right moments (out loud, people! Out loud!!!), and feel sorry for Kylie at the right moments, too. The story was a quick read and is just perfect for middle grade kids who want a fun story to read. Gabriella’s writing style is just what I like, loads of humor wrapped around a great story. I can’t wait for a sequel! *NOTE I got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is amazing!!! It truly captures the life of any middle schooler anywhere, and everyone, young or old, boy or girl, nerd or not can relate to it. This book is very witty, and a GREAT read!!! I was able to do a book report on this book, and every page I was either laughing out loud or thinking, "I UNDERSTAND!!!". I assure you that if a sequel is written, I will definately be one of the first ones to order it! I think the author is a great example to anyone who wants to publish because this really is a great, well written book, and I am so, so glad that I read it!!!

If I could I would add more stars to the rating, but 5 will have to suffice. I LOVED IT!!!! Couldn't put it down. It was fabulous. So good. Teachers need to put this on a reading list. A middle school must read. It's full of ups and downs, and even a few sideways along the way. You will laugh from the first page to the last. A true treasure you will love. there is at least one thing everyone can relate to, because most of the events are true real things. Also it's very well written. I can relate to just about everything. I truly hope to see this on Barns and Noble shelves along with more Gabriella Webster books.

Loved it! My inner nerd could definitely relate – especially thinking back to when I was in school. Gabriella’s main character, Kylie Wattson uses humor to recount some of her less than stellar experiences. She is a character that I think most teens can relate to and I believe the book is a must read for kids at the middle and high school levels.
