They say marriages are made in heaven . . . But when they fall apart It's often the innocent who go through hell. Vinesh Deshman is a hard-working and fun-loving young man from Mauritius who is determined to live by his father's motto: "you are born once, you love once, marry once, live once, and die once, and no matter what happens, you try to enjoy and make the most of it." His story is told in three parts, each centered on a critical time in his life. But when personal obsessions and jealousy enter their home, their marriage inevitably breaks down. Now the biggest losers are their teenage son and daughter, and it is up to them to fight against the family court system and their mother's wishes to try and reconnect with their father. Although he couldn't be happier with a new "partner," Vinesh misses them terribly and never gives up hope of laughing with his children again.
