This is an excellent account of a coven started in Pennsylvania in the 1960’s, and it is a true story! The story is about Dr. Fred (Lord Merlin) and Lady Phoebe, who were initiated by a famous British Witch.... Sybil Leek. In rural Pennsylvania in the 1960’s clean up through the 1980’s, organized witchcraft was very controversial and the Coven of the Catta would make quite a stir! Fortunately, the coven is still alive and well and practicing still today. Though Dr. Fred and Lady Phoebe have passed beyond the veil, their stories are re-counted by Gary Lee Hoke in a formidable way that would make them very proud! Not only is it an interesting story, the photos in this book are just fantastic! They help in illustrating the tale and the legends behind this coven and do a great job at preserving the history of witchcraft. This book is highly recommended and I think that you will find it fascinating. Witchcraft in the 1960’s was practiced differently than it is today, and this book is a... More > great primer for younger witches to be able to read a little bit of history about where witchcraft was so they can understand where it is going. The book also catches you up so you get a better view of the Coven of the Catta as it is practiced today. My hope going forward is that witchcraft history such as this continues to be preserved and not forgotten!< Less
