Here are ten of our favorite comedy sketches for groups of two or more actors. You can use these sketches during worship to set up the sermon. You can also use these sketches in special drama performances. People love to laugh at those events. But it isn't just about the laugher. Comedy can make points where direct teaching might offend. Many of our sketches use comedy to address serious issues. Anti-Accountability makes uncomfortable points about materialism. My Two Cents deals with judgmentalism. The Parable of the Workers confronts the negative view that long-time Christians sometimes have of the grace extended to new Christians. Angel on My Shoulder is a funny look at the deadly serious problem of sexual temptation on the Internet. In all these sketches people may be convicted even as they are laughing. These are serious issues that warrant discussion in the church. So we respectfully submit to that discussion our two cents... and some other funny, provocative sketches.
