At last! Poetry with feeling! So comforting to see someone else who writes how they feel & not about trees & old houses no one lives in anymore. You are an inspiration to me. Thank you!

"Poetic Tease" Very emotional and almost intrustive, the poems reflect the everyday strife of the average teenager, blinded and confused by love and attraction. In that sense, then, this read is both interesting and accurate. On the other hand, however, any evidence of poetic technique is basic and evasive, showing no outstanding 'talent' so to speak. This is not to say that an average teenager could write the same, though. It is to say that the poetry itself is average, if yet the themes behind them are more powerful.

"Heartfelt" Although this collection of poems are 99% personal, they are without a doubt easily applicable for any of the young generation today that are pushing through the growing pains and jubilations of love, hurt, hope and happiness. A worthy read.

"Poetic Tease by Gemma Gibson" Want to know what it's like to be young and in love? Think you can bear it? Read these poems. Raw, intense, unflinching and brave. Whatever you do, Gemma, don't stop writing.
