Call it lucky but the first sentence I came upon as I began to thumb through this book to decide if I wanted it, was a sentence that put into words what I felt so true but had never expressed it. It turns out that, for me, that was the main value of this book. It won’t all be new to many but it reinforces one’s own opinion about several things and in doing so gives one more confidence in what they do.

Good book. Well written and not at all like any other I've read. No "this is how I did it," how cool am I stuff. It's about you and what works for you, and more importantly, what makes you valuable to others. Some different slants on relationships, getting your message heard, presentation….the myriad of soft skills that make a person successful but still aren't taught as important skills by most universities.

This is a management book like no other. The reader is given real-world, practical, common sense guidance - tools that too many lack in business. I use this in my graduate courses. The authors have decades of business experience, at all levels, and are able to show students valuable business (and life) lessons: nothing is given free of cost, every job has its place and importance, one must take ownership of their actions, and change is inevitable – prepare and adapt or be left behind. Circumference of Me is a MUST READ for EVERY college student, especially those majoring in business. ~ Dr. Jennifer Flanagan, PhD

"Circumference of Me" is an interesting and informative read. The lessons are given by way of real world examples, many, if not all, of which the authors worked through themselves. Unlike many other books of its kind, the reader does not feel as if they are in a lecture hall, taking notes over the theoretical side of business. Instead, the theme is as much about self realization and discovery as a manager, as it is about making it in a competitive business world. I definitely recommend this book to any aspiring and/or seasoned managers/business professionals.
