A small town in the 1960's must deal with some big time crime. Written and delivered in the fashion of Sam Spade and Phillip Marlowe, the author magically transports the reader back in time - a time that should be simplier, but isn't. A tough Private Detective uses his muscle and humor to sort through clues and resolve a complicated murder. This is a Classic Carson Reno Mystery with all the usual characters and compelling conversations for the reader. Light illustrations help tell the story and complete the reader's transition back in time.

Just finished The Illegals, and I liked it! Hard to put down. And I never thought xxxxxxxxxxx did it! Should have though, thinking back over the Clues (remember the game Clue?} Keep up the writing. Nancy

Gerald - just finished reading "Dead Men Don't Remember" and I have to say it had me engrossed right down to the last page. I couldn't figure out what was going to happen. Another good read. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next one. See you soon. Linda
