A new English translation of the 319 core verses in the Bhagavad Gita is presented with a word-for-word Sanskrit-English translation together with a dictionary presenting the full meaning of all the Sanskrit words found in the 319 core verses. The book compares the Original Gita with the classic 700 verses in the Bhagavad Gita, showing clearly the interpolations and changes made in time. The reader without any knowledge of Sanskrit is able to make his own translation, or to obtain the deeper meaning of many words by consulting the dictionary.
The translation of the core verses together with the dictionary is useful for students of Sanskrit.
