A plain-English book, written for anyone who wants to understand the why and how of improving diabetes management. The way Ginger writes, the science is easy to understand and easy to relate to. The book is up-to-date on current evidence regarding nutrition, weight-loss, exercise, and how your body works, including the role they and you play in keeping yourself as healthy as possible. While you have a condition that can easily do the opposite, understanding the science goes a very long way to helping you be clear about what changes might be needed and why. If you have Type 1 diabetes, Type 1.5 or Type 2, or are headed towards Type 2, the information the book presents is invaluable. Even if you think you know the science, the book puts it into an easy to understand perspective and gives practical and helpful information. If there's something you need to understand about why something you do isn't working as well as it should, or why something is happening that you think is... More > 'unexplained', read the book! Your Diabetes Science Experiment is one of the must-read books for people with diabetes.< Less
