There are no words descriptive enough to express what the loss of someone you love feels like. Glenda's personal journey in "Wheat and Weeds" recounts her dreary dark days and gut wrenching grief. This book offers hope to the suffering and reminds us that the very scars that remain in our souls can help us to become whole.

I wish I had been able to read this book years ago. It is very insightful with much wisdom that comes with the "weeds" in our lives when we're open to it. I will be reading this book many times in my life along with one of my other favorites, "The Prophet"

“Wheat and Weeds is a thoughtful and poetic examination of our social mores as one woman journeys IN life. It is a powerful and descriptive reminder of being in the moment, really in the moment; thus opening a place for quiet reflection, for wonder and appreciation. That place creates freedom for inspiration and imagination.”

I found this book a series of meditations to be taken in small doses and I benefited from each reading. Turner's reflection on forgiveness and giving without expectations are especially comforting and yet challenging.
