Living in accomodation which houses hotel guests, asylum seekers and unemployed Londoners, this story weaves a fascinating and colourful account of life on the fringes of society, a life where true friendships are valued and where people make the best of their lives amongst difficult circumstances. In this honest and at times hilarious account of life on the outside, Gloria introduces us to a fascinating range of characters: Donald and Big Valiant from Zimbabwe, Jerry from Tanzania, Xavier, John Stony from Monserrat, Nigel from Jamaica, Woldy Kristos, Gebre Medhin Samuel and, most of all, Arthur from Jamaica and Frey from Guyana.
