This book is incredibly imaginitive. My 6 year old daughter and I read them in bed and crack up at the odd twists in the stories. I love that it captures the attention so well, exactly what you want bedtime stories to do so the children will be still and get sleepy.
Nice stories! Though I guess they are too ordinary already, everyone knows such tales with characters like talking dogs, rabbits, mice, squirrels, etc... I guess authors should strive to create new, unseen and unusual to bring "new blood" in the stories? I strive for that too in my stories (Tale Of The Rock Pieces, The Opposite Of Magic, Kids'Funny Business, etc), creatures like weightless korks, glowing, living balls, Brown faces, fiery men, one-eyeds, night fruit, rock pieces, fish-keepers, etc sound more interesting than the usual?...
