    This book is perfect for anyone wanting to learn jazz, especially for classical players. It starts from rudimentary knowledge of scales and triad chords and takes you on a journey that unlocks the "keys" of jazz improv. Great Book!

    A great book by an accomplished performer and teacher. Richards' explanations and examples are perfect for piano students of all ages. There is nothing else on the market that makes jazz piano fun and accessible for everyone willing to learn. This is a much needed book that will help students master piano fundamentals and open the door to further explorations in the world of jazz theory.

    Piano, Yeah! is wonderfully written, beautifully illustrated and first class work all around. You might be fooled into thinking that the story of a bird would be only for kids- but on the contrary, Piano, Yeah! is for ANY age of person who wants to learn jazz piano basics without getting bogged down in complicated theory or boring drills. Piano, Yeah! will have you playing from the very beginning- highly recommended!
