"Maggie" Maggie is a delightful book written and illustrated in a way children can understand and adults can enjoy. With global appeal, it mentions orphans from Mozambique, China, Romania, and Kosovo living together with loving parents. With a single passing reference to AIDS death, political conflict, Chinese adoption, and drug disability, it indicates understanding of situations of would-be readers. The first chapter tells how to plant and grow tomatoes, cowpeas, cucumbers, lettuce, pumpkins, and even watermelon. Remaining chapters tell how to plant and grow faith in Christ. Follow charming Miss Maggie as she uses simple child's language to dedicate her life to Christ, to pray, to meditate, to heal, to speak in tongues, and to share her faith with others.
